  • When can I expect my boulder to arrive?

    After finalizing the design with you, your new boulder is typically delivered within 5-8 weeks.

  • How are Boulder Designs boulders made?

    BD Boulders are 100% solid. We take sedimentary and igneous rock to make metamorphic rock. Much the same as Artisan diamonds or man-made diamonds are made, we use the same principle but with much less carbon heat and pressure. Just like nature, you cannot make two rocks the same. Your rock is your rock with a unique custom design.

  • Can you engrave photographs into stone?

    We can add personalized images to your memorial.

  • How long will the engraving last?

    The engraving will endure for the entire lifespan of the rock.

  • What maintenance is required for engraved stones?

    Minimal maintenance required. Annual cleaning and inspection are recommended, along with resealing every 1-2 years.

  • Do you offer installation services?

    Absolutely, we offer comprehensive installation services, which include site preparation and precise placement.

  • Can existing engravings be modified or corrected?

    In most cases, yes. The process and cost are influenced by the original engraving depth and the type of stone.
